What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?

Marieka, this 4th grader is my kindness idol .

She is a beautiful person, inside and out !

The second from left is Marieka and the fourth left is Maanasi Vivek, the author of this article.

Marieka's classmate told me that she is vegetarian and when I found out why and how , I was speechless .

She was four years old and in preschool .

A chicken sat on her lap and later that day at home when she was served chicken for dinner , she refused .

Her heart had connected this chicken to that chicken .

Marieka decided to become vegetarian.

I applaud her parents for letting Marieka follow her heart ?

?I found the time to talk to the mom and the mom accepted the appreciation oh so humbly .

I told her that her  daughter inspires me in more than one way and is an inspiration to me.

In my case , I was raised vegetarian.

And when I reflected about how the milk is inhumanely taken away from the mother cow and how the newborn is cruelly separated from the mother , so humans can have the milk , that made me go vegan .

I was already an adult when I consciously decided to walk that route .

But Marieka loved and valued a chicken 's life at the age of four .

She was not taught or convinced to do that .

Innate empathy ✨Soul guidance ❣️Dear Marieka :Your vegetarianism story and your book trailer message had made me your fan .

I admire you and you inspire me ✨The world is a better , brighter , kinder and nicer because for people like you .
